Elvis Ortega-Ochoa<\/a> is a Doctoral Grant Holder in Education and ICT, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. He was an Erasmus+ Visiting Researcher at the Chair of Information Systems and Systems Engineering at the University of Kassel. He is a member of the European Association of Technology-Enhanced Learning<\/a>, the British Educational Research Association<\/a>, and the International Council of Open and Distance Education<\/a>. Lastly, he is a member of the Research Group in Education and ICT (EDUL@B)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research interests<\/strong>: design of learning experiences, adaptive learning, and educational applications of machine learning and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is Elvis Ortega-Ochoa, and I hold a Master\u2019s Degree in Education and ICT, with a passion for the intersection of Computer Science, Education, and Business Administration.

My ultimate goal is to create a pedagogical model based on pedagogical conversational agents (see Tecno-pedagogical Projects<\/a> and Academy<\/a> tab). I believe this framework will have an essential role in shaping the future of education, not just on Earth but also in the future interplanetary world. Apart from my academic pursuits, I prioritize my physical and mental health. As an avid runner and calisthenics enthusiast, I believe that exercise plays a vital role in maintaining overall well-being.
